Bonjour! Cutes Shops Blog was thrilled to find Carla Vizzi's shop in the Marias area of Paris. She says her shop is a place to rediscover the Art of Living in the 18th-century around the daily activities of the Boudoir. Carla works with craftsmen who recreate 18th century art and she also sells both antiques and newly created classical elements that may have been found in Marie Antoinette's boudoir. Commission portraits of your favorite dog, in an 18th century spirit, are but one of the many possibilities of artwork she can also create for you. So, lovers of baroque, head for the Marias and step into a exploration of intimate Parisian life at Le Boudoir et sa Philosophie.

Thank you so much for your comments! Small world, isnt it. Beijing is an incredible place and would love to capture some of its cutes shops. Yes, please scout! I would be most grateful. I remember those unique tea houses in the hutong. I dont even know if the hutong exists anymore. Thank you, Dominique!
i'll keep my eyes open (and my camera is always ready!) hutongs are definitely disappearing indeed, sadly, but there are some neihgborhoods that have been preserved and some house very cute shops!
yes tea houses, ceramic shops, accessories, furniture, etc... beijing is changing every day at an incredible pace but when you know where to look, there is still some traditionnal charm left...
i've bookmarked your blog, will stop by again, ;) dominique www.flickr.com/photos/dominiqueb
Shops that will be considered for the Cute Shop Blog will need to be bricks + mortar, independently owned---(no big chains or big stores), specialty shops or studios owned by a shopkeeper or designer with a passion (no generic gift shops), keep regular hours or available by appointment, g-rated and cute! Send me an email at mootzrun@yahoo.com, along with pics.
Our beautiful pics are copyright protected and owned by the photographers.. If you want to use, please write us for permission and we will check with the photographer. We respect intellectural property rights.
The Granville Millinery Company
This is Amy Hamilton's Fabulous Studio where she creates her exquisite couture. Available by appointment. She has been featured in Harper's Baazar, "O" At Home, Country Living, Victoria...just to name a few! Location - Granville, Ohio
Jennifer Porter - A cool friend and talented artist!
We are selling these cards in the Mootz Run Shop. They are handprinted on a special gocco machine. Not sure what that is, but it sounds old world! If you want to see some of her fun stuff, visit her etsy shop. I am addicted to her jewelry and bought several styles to sell in the shop and for myself. I couldnt resist. They arrived in cute boxes with ribbon and tea-stained handprinted tags. So French! When you click on her site, you will notice that her photos are magical...that is because she is a professional photographer, too!
pistacia vera
El Gato Negro
A great spice shop in Buenos Aires
Moyses Flowers
Love these london flower shops!
Kaat Tilley
She is one fanciful designer with a couple of cool shops in Belgium. My friend, maryse willems of Ghent, took this pic. What I love about Kaat is how her pieces have something to say and seem to tell a story.
Cote Jardin Antiques
The place to visit for patina-kissed 18th and 19th century garden garnishes.
Joseph Stannard Antiques
A fabulous place with fabulous gardens. This in the the Litchfield Hills area in CT. One of my most favorite spots in the world for world class antique shopping.
